Lies have short legs, especially if you want to flee to a Caribbean tax haven. With the tax investigation hot on his heels, shady businessman Carl Ridley (Bill Paxton) travels to the Cayman Islands with his 18-year-old daughter Pippa and a suitcase full of black money to settle a few matters with his lawyer. But nothing goes as planned in the tropical tax haven, where conflicts are also boiling over: local fisherman Shy (Orlando Bloom) is about to clash with the rich family of his affair Andrea (Zoe Saldana). Too much money, too much pressure and too much mumbling soon cause the pot to boil over in the sultry tropical paradise. Director Frank E. Flowers was born on the Cayman Islands himself and has paid homage to his homeland in his debut film. He has landed a prominent cast for his atmospherically captured thriller drama: Alongside Bill Paxton, Zoe Saldana ("Guardians of the Galaxy", "Avatar"), Anthony Mackie ("Avengers") and Orlando Bloom ("The Hobbit") get into trouble.
