Kamal has fled Iraq to try to enter "Fortress Europe". At the Turkish-Bulgarian border, local mercenaries are ruthlessly hunting down migrants. Alone in the forest, Kamal has three days to escape. In a film with almost no dialogue, we follow Kamal's journey through a forest. Helpless in the face of nature and the dangers that surround him, Kamal is not just trying to reach Europe, he is simply trying to survive. In this context, other men and women can represent hope or danger. A hard-hitting film that shows in very concrete terms the conditions that migrants have to face, and appeals to everyone's humanity.
